As you might have noticed, I added a 'The 5 year plan'-page and a 'To Do List 2011'-page to my blog.
The 5 Year Plan
I already mentioned The Bucket List in earlier posts. I also mentioned that I plan on making a bucket list Silly Girl Running style. Meaning, it won't be the 'average' things to do before you die-list, but a list for the next 5 years. In the last couple of days I realized that 'the bucket list' indeed has a 'things to do before I die' kind of ring to it, and I don't really like that 'ring', so I'm sticking with 'The 5 Year Plan' or 'Things to do before January 1st 2011'.
Now, go check out the 5 Year Plan! http://sillygirlrunning.blogspot.com/p/bucket-list-5-year-plan.html
The list isn't finished yet. I'm still working on it and looking for ideas and adding 'things' to the list when I come up with something. What is on the list (and I really want to do this race!) is the Walt Disney Marathon Goofy's Challenge! Call me a kid, but I love everything Disney! Instant happiness! :)
What would you put on the 5 Year Plan list?
To Do List 2011
Check out this list here: http://sillygirlrunning.blogspot.com/p/to-do-list-2011.html
Well, this one's pretty obvious, huh? Just a list of things I really want to do or keep on doing in 2011. Nothing too 'wow, what do you plan on doing?'. Just some things I really would love to do in 2011, and I feel I should be doing. Some things on the list, like 'stretching', are just more of an everyday reminder. An important reminder, though! ;)
What are your goals for 2011?

As the major running race I have the Berlin Marathon on 25 Sep 2011. But before that my Ultimate Challenge 2011 is Ironman 70.3 European Championship on 14 Aug 2011 in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Just decided to try the triathlon, so that it somehow organizes me to take a proper swimming and bike training.
I'd love to do that Half at Disneyland in September, but I don't run on Sundays for religious reasons. I'm really bummed. The marathon will be a great experience for you!
I want to get my pace down to 9:00 min/mile (ultimately I want to be in the 8:30s, but I have a ways to go) and run my first 1/2 in September.
Ryan and I love the Disney marathon. We will be doing the Goofy this weekend. I've done Goofy every year since they first offered it, so now i have a streak going and i must continue, right? It is a little pricey but so worth it to us. I've heard a lot of people complain about the course, saying that it's boring and how they thought it would run through the parks more...umm hellllooo, it's a MARATHON, the only way to get to the next park is to RUN there, so yes, there is some highway running. Surely people didn't think we'd run in circles. It's fun tho bc you know the next park is coming so it gives you something to look forward to. It's a BLAST!! I hope you get to do it soon!
Fun and good goals--love that you want to inspire someone to run! Good luck with it all...and keep up that stretching!
I'm intrigued by the Goofy!!
Also... the Transrockies thingy? It's in Colorado, so I guess I'm your gal :D Besides, if I can't do the Alps, might as well do that?
@ Bethany+Ryan: Thanks for the info! :)
@ Becka: Yay on the Transrockies! :) But...uhm...before you truly commit to it...did you check out their website? It's a multi-day endurance trail race........
The Goofy is right down the street for me. Bonnie and her friends are handing out water on the second stop this weekend. She ran the marathon there last year. She like it. It's an expensive race though.

@ Kevin: Would this imply that - if I'd actually end up doing the Goofy - I'm invited to camp around in your back yard? ;)
Hi from Boston! Some of my goals are to finish the Boston Marathon and to run a sub-20 5k. I also hope to stay out of the emergency room (I have a three year ER streak going!)
Happy New Year!
@ runningshorts: Thanks for commenting! Fingers crossed that you're not heading for a four year streak! Yikes!
