In case you didn't know, I too am experiencing issues on the back side of left knee (PT suspects minor torn meniscus). Seeing my sports doctor on the 13th.

What I am trying to get at is... I empathize. 2 weeks is a lifetime for us runners. Not running 3 days in a row feels like suicide to our sport.

All the love hun and I hope after two weeks, it has mended itself and you can get back out there discomfort-free.

Keep the head up high. Lots of love way out west.

XOXONordic Moxiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00548241363134735893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7652481848242954340.post-18917927754101081782011-01-11T08:31:57.452-08:002011-01-11T08:31:57.452-08:00maybe a more slow easy entry to racein next time. ...maybe a more slow easy entry to racein next time. let's hope this is just one of those bizarre tweaks that takes care of itself with a day or two of restRunToTheFinishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13995696358152941044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7652481848242954340.post-42362945460366050782011-01-11T06:50:21.174-08:002011-01-11T06:50:21.174-08:00@ all: Thanks! :)

Wait 24 and repeat till you no longer have the pain. This process usually takes 1-2 weeks. I'm not a doctor but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night. Worse case if it does not work your dog will LOVE being around you.

Kevin
http://halftriing.blogspot.comKevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02282338420014507326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7652481848242954340.post-43572947137179628232011-01-10T09:52:17.957-08:002011-01-10T09:52:17.957-08:00Noooooo sorry girl! The key is to focus on recovery and you’ll be back out there in no time.

Oh, those race photos are wonderful!! I've made a point of icing it after a run and massaging it nightly. We think I'm probably not being intentional enough in my stretching after runs and/or not replenishing electrolytes. I hope your pain goes away soon!Nike Athenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15248252147500729133noreply@blogger.com
