However, check if the sparkling water has extra sodium in it: some sparkling waters do. And that could dehydrate you (to some level). One thing I would add is ...So not so silly advice!<br /><br />One thing I would add is to <a href="http://www.ultramarathonrunning.com.au/2010/10/know-your-sweat-rate-and-finish-your.html" rel="nofollow">know your sweat rate</a> under different conditions, so that you're not over or under hydrating.
